Nuummite is a rare metamorphic rock primarily found in Greenland. It was discovered in 1982 near Nuuk, the capital of Greenland, and is named after this locality.

It is composed mainly of two amphibole minerals: gedrite and anthophyllite. Nuummite formed approximately 3 billion years ago, making it one of the oldest minerals on Earth.
